Upon a first analysis of the selection, the Lombardy region is the most awarded region with six winning startups; this is followed by the Emilia Romagna region with five winners; Tuscany with four winners; Veneto with three winners; Campania, Lazio, Liguria, Puglia and Sicily follow with two winners each, and finally Marche, Piedmont and Sardinia with one winner each. These data are reflected on a larger scale when, on the closing of the competition which counted more than 500 applications for the Prize, Lombardy had the most number of enrolled startups.
